Art and yoga have many things in common: they bring people together, they break down barriers, and they nourish souls.
Yoga means “union.” It is this state that one feels during a posture or while practicing meditation that one also lives it in the practice of an art.
Painting, dancing, singing … all these arts are likely to take us towards a state of union, as does the practice of yoga.
1 – Yoga: the art of happiness
Yoga is considered an art of living; it allows a discovery of oneself, to feel better, and for better flexibility of the body and the spirit.
Art also acts on the body and mind: dance, singing, painting, poetry… It soothes and improves our relationship with the people around us; the body finds peace and serenity.
2 – Yoga: the art of living
Yoga gives us the chance to connect with the body and mind; it allows us to feel stronger and be in close agreement with ourselves.
Practicing the art with all its styles, postures, and movements also allows us to know who we are and to stay strong in all the difficulties we go through in our lives so we become a better version full of patience, kindness, and hope.
