MANAL CHERKI:
THE SACRED FIRE OF THE FIRST HUMANS
The Unification of the Elements:
The Unification of the Elements: An Odyssey of the Spirit
The Vision of Absolute Unity
Manal Cherki’s work offers a holistic synthesis where the world is fragmented.
Driven by a rigorous intellectual framework, her approach unites quantum physics, the history of humanity, and ancestral spirituality.
Her work is not limited to artistic expression; it seeks complete coherence between origin and becoming.
The Symbiosis: Fire Expression & Earth Expression
Initiated in 2023, this elemental cycle reaches a key milestone by merging Fire and Earth in an indivisible work:
“The Sacred Fire of the First Humans.”
This symbiosis captures the precise moment when spirit met matter on the land of the Sharifian people.
Drawing on the discoveries of Jebel Irhoud, Manal Cherki traces 330,000 years of history to celebrate Morocco as the original cradle of humanity.
The Deployment of the 7 Arts:
The Harmony of the 5 Elements. Currently being rolled out nationally and internationally through the Irhoud 77 – VFA project (April 2026), this comprehensive performance translates profound intellectual complexity into pure aesthetics:
Vocal Infinity:
A journey across seven octaves, creating a bridge between the fervor of the flame and the breath of the earth.
Sacred Gesture: A dancer and researcher at CID-UNESCO since 2020, she embodies ecstatic choreographies connecting humanity to the cosmos.
The Avant-Garde Installation: A fusion of live painting, orchestral music, and exquisitely crafted costumes, elevating Moroccan identity to a radiant universality.
A Diplomacy of Knowledge
Under the auspices of Visa For Art (VFA), Manal Cherki offers an experience that transcends live performance.
With quiet strength, she places the Kingdom at the heart of the global narrative, offering a vision where art is the sacred link that unites the elements, the ages, and humankind.
“Uniting the elements to reveal the Essential.”

Fire Expression

Manal Cherki: The Dialogue of Silence
Born in Rabat on December 17, 1993, Manal Cherki displays a sensitivity that invites us on a journey beyond the senses.
Afflicted with profound bilateral deafness, she has transformed the absence of sound into a vibrant, chromatic, and tactile quest of rare authenticity.
Her trajectory is that of an attentive gaze seeking to reveal the beauty of silence.
The Apprenticeship of a Passionate Artist of Materials
Her identity draws its richness from the confluence of worlds: the profound energy of her father’s Amazigh mountains unites with her mother’s delicate Andalusian Jewish heritage.
From the age of eight, under her father’s watchful eye, she learned the fundamental gestures of creation:
The Art of Building:
She patiently learned to construct the framework of her work, erecting each canvas like a solid foundation.
Listening to Clay: In her hands, the earth becomes a language; she shapes the clay with a natural gentleness, seeking to breathe movement and life into it.
The Craftsmanship of the Elements:
Shaping materials is for her a sincere dialogue with the elements, a search for balance where iron, water, and canvas meet in utter simplicity.
The Trinity of Transmission
This journey has been guided by a universal sharing: her father taught her structure, while her mentor, Marc Herbin Boutier, a French Christian, encouraged her personal expression from the age of 10.
From this spiritual union (Muslim, Jewish, and Christian) was born a humble language that seeks to touch the heart.
The Resonance of the 7 Arts
A witness to the invisible, Manal Cherki harmonizes the 7 Arts with touching sincerity. Her emblem—the inverted pyramid pointing towards the lands of early humans—illustrates her commitment: a return to our shared roots, to the place where human consciousness awakens in the light.
Manal Cherki is not an artist who cannot hear; she is an attentive soul who gives peaceful resonance to silence.
